Enjoy the sights and sounds of the holiday season with an annual Christmas Parade and a multitude of shopping events including Mistletoe & Magic, the largest shopping extravaganza in the region. Take a self-guide tour through the Azalea District Trail of Lights and enjoy visiting any number of local shops unique to Tyler. There will be wonderful holiday offerings all season long!

Azalea District Trail of Lights

You’ve seen the Azalea Trail District during the spring, now experience one of Tyler’s most beautiful neighborhoods lit for the holiday season in an event we’re calling the Azalea Trail District Trail of Lights.

Throughout December, take a self-guided tour through this historic district and see the homes in all of their holiday glory.

If you live in the Azalea District, you are encouraged to participate by decorating your home for the holidays. There will be a Homeowner’s decorating contest with a chance to win prizes. You must register your house in order to participate in the competition.

The Tyler Rose Garden will be “dressed” for the holidays through Jan. 2. The garden will be open late (5-8pm) on special evenings to view the lights on the following dates: Dec. 16-19; Dec. 23; Dec. 26; Dec. 29; Jan. 2.

Note: Between Nov. 30-Jan. 3, entrance to the Rose Garden will only be permitted through the Rose Garden Center building. Regular operating hours are 8am-5pm Mon.-Sat. & 1-5pm on Sun.

Everyone in line is asked to social distance (6ft apart). Drivers will be wearing a mask and patrons are also encouraged to also wear masks.
