Built in 1938 under the Work Progress Administration Project…renovated in 1948 due to a fire and in 1991 with formation of the Tyler Baseball Commission…has been home to several minor league and professional baseball teams…TJC baseball began practicing and playing at CHRISTUS Trinity Mother Frances Mike Carter Field with the rejuvenation of the program in 1992…Tyler Independent School District bought the facility from the City of Tyler in 1998…host facility for high school baseball exhibition and playoff games coordinated through Tyler ISD Athletics…host facility for NJCAA Regional, District, and National Tournaments.
